Chapter 3: The Bridge
Amaya let her stud rest for a while. She saw already some of the others stepping onto the bridge. She could see that one horse left his rider behind. Somehow it was amusing, but on the other hands she wouldn't want to switch places. Some other horse were really suspicious, if the bridge wouldn't just disappear when they stepped onto it. The sky was mixing with the dark of the night and the light of the day. The result was a beautiful mixtures of colours. And slowly the stars disappeared, while the sun was getting stronger and stronger. Smaug looked up to the sky. His eyes were mirroring the vanishing stars on the one side and the powerful sun on the other.
''Hm, how about it, my dear boy? Have you rested enough?'' As an answer Smaug got up and trotted over to his rider. A gentle laugh cam from her mouth and she put the saddle back on Smaug. He stretch his neck and his head over to Amaya who gently pulled on his nostrils.
Now they headed off to step finally onto the bridge as Amaya just didn't wanted to be left behind. She sat up, took up the reins and let Smaug trot towards the bridge. The sun had already risen, not completely, but enough to enlighten the bridge and the rest of the world. With the sun the bridge was now in a set of a beautiful light, with its small lights circle around it.
Now was now stepping onto it. Small lights came out of the place where his hooves touched the bridge. His hooves made sound unusually louder than normal on the stones. Maybe it was just an effect of the bridge, just like the light coming out of touched places. She surveyed the bridge and notice that golden plates were embedded into the stones everywhere the pillars began. Clip, clap. Clip, clap. Smaug trotted forward. Slowly he felt into a gathered gallop. Clip, clip, clap. Amaya felt the magic coming from this impressive structure. The bridge seemed endless and Amaya didn't know how long it would take them to cross it. Smaug eased off and felt into an effort saving walk.....

Any things you like or I could do better?
Hm it didn't really came out how I imagined it, but I'm not really in the mood to draw and got myself an art block. Also I wanted to add a horse, but I just wanted to finish this piece. :C
